From toy boxes to tool boxes, bathroom cabinets to bedside tables, our small spaces quietly collect far more than their fair share of stuff.

But sort through them, let go of what isn't needed and give what remains its rightful place, and the effect is surprisingly powerful. Those little pockets of calm make a bigger difference to how your home feels to live in than you might expect.

These drawers barely opened and weren’t being utilised well.
The goal was to create a place for colouring and craft supplies, as well as a home for small, frequently used household essentials.
